Share read the information so you know how to write a postcard.

One star  -  Look at the information to find out what it is like and what the animals are like. Write in simple sentences which animals you saw and describe the environment. 

Two star  -  Look at the information to find out how to write a simple postcard. Tell your friends about the animals, what the environment is like and how you feel. 

 Three star  -  Look at the information to find out how to write a postcard. Tell your friends about the Arctic animals, using adjectives to describe their appearance. Describe the environment using noun phrases and explain how you feel.  

 Four star  -  Look at the information to find out how to write a postcard telling your friends about the Arctic animals, using adjectives to describe their appearance. Describe the environment using noun phrases and explain how you feel.  Try and include different sentences types, e.g. ask your friend a question, include an exclamation sentence.
