What does blue & yellow make?

The FS2 children explored making predictions. We wanted to answer the question what does blue and yellow make? We predicted a whole range of colours including; red, purple, black, still blue... the list goes on! We then set off on our way to investigate our question. We mixed cards through coloured paint, we mixed playdough, painted our hands and mixed them, rolled marbles, stirred foam and lots more! We discovered that blue and yellow make green! We also had lots of fun and got rather messy in the process! We had some right predictions and some that weren't but that doesn't matter. It's science that is important!
