Working Together To Be The Best We Can Be

Scientific, Creative and Practical Activities

In your back garden or during your daily exercise can you find a spider web? Take a picture. We would love you to post them onto our class blog!

In the nursery rhyme Incy Wincy Spider the weather changes from rain to sunshine. It's been like that for us too hasn't it? Why not try these weather and rainbow activities:
Make your own weather diary. What you draw or write down what the weather is like every day?

Do you know what a rain gauge is? They measure how much rain we've had. Click on this link to have a go at making your own rain gauge.

All you need is a plastic bottle and an adult to help you.

What clothes do you need for the different weather? Draw a picture of what you would wear in the sunshine and what you would wear in the rain.

Can you make a rainbow? Click on this skittles experiment and see what happens... It's so fun to watch!

Here are lots of different spider crafts for you to have a go at.

Try some spider yoga!

Practise your fine motor skills- can you rescue small things out of your web?  You could try using a peg/tweezers/tongs or chopsticks.
