Handwriting Practice/ Mark-Making.
This week, can you have a go at making some zigzag lines?
Remember to start on your left-hand side and move your mark-making tool up and down, making sure you make nice, sharp points.
Remember, you can practise these in lots of different ways...with a pencil and paper, with felt-tips, with paint, with your finger in a tray of salt or sugar, with a stick in the mud outdoors...
Maybe you could use some coloured crayons or felt-tips to design a zigzag pattern?
Can you find some newspaper, an old magazine, a used cereal packet or other packaging around your house?
Remember to check with your grown-ups first that it is nothing important!!
Can you use your fingers and hands to rip it up?
Maybe you could use the different pieces of paper you have ripped up to make a paper collage?
Here are a couple of fun songs to really get you moving- can you join in with all the actions and singing?
Click on the pictures below to join in with the songs.
This week, Jamie is going on a farm adventure.
Can you join in and see what animals she finds?
