It is another name for a violin, an instrument with strings that you play with a bow.

I-Spy Game.
Look at these photographs of different farm animals.
Do you know what they all are?
Now ask your grown-up to help you play the I-Spy Game.
Ask them to say 'I Spy an animal starting with 'p' '
Can you say which animal this is?
Grown-ups- if the children get good at this game, you could try extending it.
Say ' I spy e.g. the c-ow, h-e-n, sh-ee-p etc'
Can your child hear the separate sounds and blend them together to say which animal it is?
