Just lots of reminders this week of things you can be doing at home to support your child's phonic development!!
Make collections of objects that begin with the same sound
Practise looking for different letters in books, on packaging, on signs and notices etc...
Can your child have a go at writing a letter shape in response to a sound you say?
Play 'I-Spy'
Sing lots of Nursery rhymes and songs
Can you think of sets of words that rhyme together?
Have fun making silly sounds with your voice or different parts of your body!
Use simple home-made instruments to explore different sounds!
Here is a fun rhyming text which I'm sure the children will have heard before for you to enjoy together!
