Update for parents 22.5.20

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to all FS2 parents who have let us know your current feelings about your children returning to school. This has helped us greatly with our planning. 

There currently continues to be much uncertainty about the extending of current school provision and we are receiving information and guidelines on a daily basis which we are working hard to address and use to carefully plan for any further opening.

Hetts Lane will be closed next week for the half term holiday. (Monday 25^th May – Monday 1^st June) Staff will be taking a well-deserved break from school and there will not be any new home learning put on the website next week. If you wish to continue to work with your child there are a number of links you can continue to use.  New home learning materials will be available on the website from Monday 1^st June.  Although staff will not be replying to emails and the blog over half term we would love to see and hear what you have been doing the following week.

School will be continuing to provide prearranged provision for Key Worker and vulnerable children between 8.15am and 3pm from Tuesday 2^nd June.  

We are planning that any additional opening for FS2 will be from Monday 8^th June.  This will enable us to have time to properly prepare and to confirm arrangements with you.  This of course continues to be subject to numerous factors including any further government announcement and may change.

We will be providing you with more detailed information during the week beginning 1^st June.
