Working Together To Be The Best We Can Be

A message from Mrs Stancliffe

11th May 2020

Dear parent/ carers,

Last night, along with many of you, we saw the Prime Ministers announcement and now like all schools we are waiting to receive more information about what this means exactly for Hetts Lane. We do know that for now, in the short term nothing has changed, we will continue to provide learning activities for your children at home through the school website and provide childcare for those families we have already been supporting during the lockdown.

We know you may understandably be anxious and will certainly have lots of questions but unfortunately we are not in a position to answer them until we have had further information and clear guidance from the government ourselves. I would like to reassure you that as always the safety and well being of your children, as well as our staff and you as parents and carers is my first priority and will be at the forefront of anything and everything we do. We will keep you informed through our website and will provide further information as soon as we are able to do so.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and the great learning you have been doing with your children at home. Please also thank your children for being amazing while they are being asked to stay at home. Myself and the staff miss them all and are so proud of each of them. Please remember the most important thing is that you and your family continue to stay safe, stay happy and stay well at this time.

Best Wishes, Take Care,

Lucy Stancliffe
