A message for FS2 parents

22nd June 2020

To the parents & carers of FS2 children,

We hope you are all doing okay and keeping safe, happy and well. Last week we were delighted to welcome some of our fantastic FS2 children back into school. Although things felt different for them initially, they have quickly adapted to the changes we have needed to make and have settled brilliantly into their new “bubbles” and ways of working.

I know most of you have already spoken to your class teachers in the last few days but I would just like to confirm that for the rest of this term, we do still have some spaces for FS2 children, who will be in school Monday to Thursday for the next 4 weeks . The last day for FS2 children will be on Thursday 16th July.

If you would like your child to attend for the last 3 weeks (from Mon 29th June – Thursday 16th June) please let us know by Friday 26th June. This will enable us to plan our provision and ensure we have staffing in place.

Please see the parent information below which gives you lots more information about our current FS2 provision and the changes that we have made to help keep everyone safe and allow us to meet government guidelines. It might seem a lot, but it has quickly become part of the daily routine for staff and children already in school.

It is your choice whether to send your child back to school before the end of the Summer term, we just ask that you let us know by the end of this week. We completely respect your decision and we will be continuing to provide home learning information on the school website and will be making some home learning activity packs available for collection from school later this week. We will also be providing some transition information and activities for you to do at home during the week beginning July 6th.

We look forward to being able to have all your amazing children back in school when we are able to do so. In the meantime thank you for your continuing support and please stay safe and well.

Best Wishes

Mrs Lucy Stancliffe
