Do you have a dice or dominoes at your house? Look for the pattern of 3 spots.

Whilst you are outdoors on a walk be a 'number 3 detective!' Can you spot number 3's on sign posts, doors, number plates etc?

Number Rhyme.

Do you know the rhyme about

Five Green and Speckled Frogs?

Can you show your grown up 5 fingers?

Join in singing the rhyme, remembering to put one finger down each time a frog jumps into the pool!

Click on the frog picture below so you can listen to the rhyme.

Measuring Capacity.

This is an activity you could do whilst you are in the bath, or fill up the washing-up bowl.

Collect together some empty plastic bottles of different sizes, plastic cups, jugs etc.

Let your child practise filling and pouring water from one container to the other.

Which container holds most water?

Which container holds least water?

Does the jug hold more water than the plastic bottle?

How many jugs of water do you need to fill the large plastic bottle?
