This week in maths we are going to practise our counting, ordering and adding skills. Try to do one activity a day-you can choose the order that you do the activities.
Look at the pictures of the caterpillars. Can you say which number is missing?
We have played this game at school. Practise ordering numbers in order of size to 10 and 20. If you are feeling clever you could try ordering the numbers counting backwards!
Here is a game to play with your family. You will need a dice, some paper and a pens or pencils.
Take turns to roll the dice.
When you roll a 6 you can draw the head.
Then you need to keep taking turns rolling the dice until you get a 5, (draw the eyes), then a 4 (mouth), 3 (feelers), 2(body ), 1(feet).
The first person to draw a caterpillar wins.
This activity is going to help your adding skills by counting on. You could use your fingers or some objects to help you.
