Over the next two days we are going to be learning about the conservation of number. You are going to make a number line to twenty so you will need enough card or paper to complete the task. (You could just cut up a cereal box).

Today we are going to make some number cards to represent numbers to ten in different ways.

Can you cut up ten pieces of card or paper large enough to make the numbers on?

On each card write the numeral and the name of the number then use pictures to represent the number. Can you think of two ways to represent your number?
