Working Together To Be The Best We Can Be

Literacy

Today in literacy we are focusing on making lists and using our phonic knowledge to write the words. Try to use your phonic chart in your resource pack to help you.

Today on Down on the Farm JB and Storm are finding out about cheese.

See if you can answer these questions.(Remember you do not need to write the answers)

Did you see what has just arrived at the factory? Where does it come from?

Can you remember what happens in the vats? What are the two parts called?

What happens in the stirring tray? Why does it need a sieve at the bottom?  What is a sieve?

Did you see what they added to the cheese? What happened to the cheese after that?

How long is the cheese stored before it is ready?

Challenge:

Draw and label some things that are made from milk in your book.

You could then practise writing a few sentences using your words. Eg. Cheese is made from milk.

Remember

  • Capital letters
  • Finger spaces
  • Writing sitting on the line
  • Letters correctly formed
  • Full stop at the end of the sentence.
