Working Together To Be The Best We Can Be

Literacy

We are coming toward the end of our learning about minibeasts.  This week we hope you enjoy these rhyming stories by David Pelham about a little boy called Sam.  Sam likes to add 'surprises' to the food he makes for his sister Samantha!

The first story to watch and listen to is Sam's Sandwich.  Can you predict what Sam has hidden in the sandwich using the rhyme as a clue?

Would you like to eat Sam's sandwich?

If you were making a yucky sandwich what would you put in it?  Who would you give the sandwich to?

Can you write a list of words that rhyme with the words slug and snail?

For a challenge can you write a silly sentence using some of your rhyming words.

Here are two more David Pelham stories about Sam to listen to.  Which story did you like the most?  Why?
