We have looked at different types of animals and this week we are going to continue our learning journey looking at animals from another continent. We are going to use noun phrases to create a character description.
Read or share the story about Ronald the rhino. Look at the simple example of a character description. Think about the characters looks, personality, likes and dislikes and choose words to describe the animals.

Three stars - Share the story and chooses words from the word bank to create an expanded noun phrase for the animals. Don’t forget about the use of a comma if you are creating a list of adjectives.
