African Art

Africa is well known for it's Art. For hundreds of years, African art has been strongly influenced by the environment and natural surroundings. We have attached a PowerPoint for you to have a look at and attached examples of African Art. Can you use what you have at home to create your own African Pattern or African Art? We would love to see so send us a photo once your masterpiece is finished!

             You could use different media to create the sunset background: ripped coloured paper, pastels, colouring pencils, paint - it's up to you! You could then use black paper or black pencil/colour to create/draw the objects on the background. Get creative!

 

 

Can you create your own pattern strips? Google ideas and use what you have at home to create different African patterns. 

 

 

Use a paper plate and colours/felt tips to create your own African Maasai necklace. 

 

 

Use cardboard and paper to create this 3D Animal Art.
